Ensuring a Young Woman’s Success
Ms. Ratshi Nomabhongo is from Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape. She was raised by a single mother who was the sole breadwinner in the family and who struggled to make ends meet. Unable to finance college on her own even with her mother’s support, Ms. Nomabhongo turned to FNB for a Student Loan. In 2003, she started her university education at CIDA City Campus in Johannesburg, a university supported by SEDF, where she worked towards a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree majoring in Marketing and Human Resources. After years of hard work and sacrifice, she graduated with a BBA in 2008. She now works as a Risk Analyst for Momentum Life.
